Class descriptions

senior strong

Senior Strong classes are designed to increase overall strength, flexibility, and balance, mastering movements important to improving the quality of everyday life. We will be increasing your cardiovascular health and range of motion using resistance bands, rubber balls, and other equipment which will give you a healthy workout in a fun and safe environment! Class Activities • 10 minutes: warm-up (including flexibility and stretching) • 30 minutes: strength/balance/cardio training • 5 minutes: cool down

mahjong

The instructional class will introduce you to the rules and basic moves of this ancient Chinese game. Whether you are a beginner or just need a refresher, you will enjoy learning to play with friends! Once you’re comfortable on your own, join us in the large room to play!

tai chi

Tai chi is a practice that involves a series of slow gentle movements and physical postures, a meditative state of mind, and controlled breathing.

canasta

The instructional class will introduce you to the complex and fascinating game of Canasta. You will learn strategies and tips to help you become a great player! Whether you are a beginner or just need a refresher, you will enjoy learning to play with friends!
